Programs Director

The Programs Director is one of the twelve members of the Board of Directors. Their mission is to foster a sense of community and belonging within the DVS membership through community programs.


Duties according to Bylaws

  1. Curate community programs, setting a strategy that ensures a balanced, varied offering
  2. Determine when a community initiative should be retired, and follow through with retirement
  3. Manage DVS Community programs
  4. Manage DVS challenges
  5. Manage annual census survey and data
  6. Surface already existing external data visualization community programs to members
  7. Manage Community Committee
