Communications Director

The Communications Director is one of the twelve members of the Board of Directors. Their mission is to promote DVS initiatives and resources to members and others.

Duties according to Bylaws

  1. Set communications strategy, aligned to overall DVS goals and shifting priorities
  2. Manage social media channels
  3. Manage YouTube Channel
  4. Manage newsletter and press releases
  5. Ongoing coordination with and support for other board members’ communications for all initiatives
  6. Manage website as a marketing tool
  7. Manage Communications Committee
  8. Oversee the maintenance of Branding/design for the DVS brand.
  9. Organize the addition of branding decorations and flare to public-facing documents and correspondences.
  10. Oversee the creation and management of swag
