DVS's Fireside chat is organized by the Programs Director.
Fireside is an informal conversation around topics that are held monthly. These topics are curated by the Programs Director or are suggested by committee members.
The chats will include a moderator (board member or programs director themselves) and 3-4 people.
TASKS
- The Program Director decides on who will moderate chat.
- Scout people to talk about the topic. Diversity in backgrounds and nationalities for speakers/attendees.
- Create a survey on the topic via survey monkey and post to DVS website,
- Advertise that topic is available via DVS's social media channels, designing promo graphics for social media, email marketing materials.
- Collect bios and links from all of the attendees.
- Schedule Hour and half-time block via ZOOM.
- Zoom to youtube or any one of DVS's social platforms that allows replay of live videos.
- Curate moderator questions. Only board members can suggest questions.
- Follow up after the event via social media so people can watch replay.
