The Data Visualization Society (DVS) was founded in 2019 as a professional organization for everyone working in data visualization or looking to enter the field, and to increase the visibility and value of data visualization to the general public. The DVS is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Bylaws
Bylaws are a "Governing document for a non-profit organization that establishes and outlines the purpose of the organization and its governing structure, policies, practices, authority, and directives for compliant, ongoing oversight and successful operations of the organization." [1] The current DVS Bylaws can be found on the DVS website.
