The Partnerships Director is one of the twelve members of the Board of Directors. Their mission is to further the mission of the DVS through partnerships with organizations whose values and mission support ours.
Duties according to Bylaws
- Set strategy for partnering with organizations that support the DVS mission
- Find ways to support already existing data visualization organizations through partnerships
- Identify and engage with potential partners
- Manage incoming requests for partnerships from various sectors
- Create and maintain partnership/packages and agreements
- Oversee delivery of DVS side of partnership agreements
- Maintain partner relationships
- Maintain a structured overview of all partnership agreements and information
- Manage Partnerships Committee
Tasks
- Manage incoming requests for partnerships
- Deliver DVS side of partnership agreements
- Draft partnership/sponsorship packages and agreements
- Create template emails for partnership outreach
- Manage incoming requests for partnerships from various sectors
- Create and then manage contact database of potential partners
- Contribute to conceptualizing / executing various DVS programs / deliverables
- Manage the partnerships piece of the DVS Accreditation program
